We’re excited to announce the launch of a new feature designed to make managing Tyne Tunnel Guest Payments even easier: Guest Payment Email Notifications!
This feature gives customers without a Pre-Paid Account the option to be more informed about their Tyne Tunnel toll payments. Customers can opt-in to receive email notifications when they travel through the tunnels without a valid payment.
You can opt-in to this feature when paying for a passage through Guest Payment.
For customers who sign-up for a Pre-Paid Account, there are even more options for email notifications available! You can opt-in to get notified when your account hits your chosen low balance threshold as well as receiving a notification when you make a journey with insufficient funds in your account, prompting you to top-up. Please note that email notifications may land in a spam folder depending on your email provider. If using this feature, we would recommend adding the [email protected] email address to your whitelist.
