To show support for the foundation, on the 19th May, we held a purple-themed bake sale to raise funds for the Percy Hedley Foundation as part of their “Paint The Toon Purple” 70th birthday celebrations.
TT2 staff members brought in a variety of purple treats, from biscuits to cakes with purple icing and a competition was held to decide on best baker. All proceeds went directly to the foundation, to aid in the support they give to children & adults every week.
The Percy Hedley Foundation is a UK organisation dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. Established in 1953, it provides personalized care, education, and support for people of all ages with physical and learning disabilities.
Through innovative programs and assistive technologies, the foundation aims to enhance the quality of life and promote independence. From early intervention for children to vocational training for adults, they offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to individual needs.
Our support continues thanks to our nominations based monthly core values award, in which staff members can nominate their team members and reflect on good work, the winner can choose a charity of their choice to donate £200 to. This month, our winner chose to support the Percy Hedley Foundation.
